Captain (Ret) Harlan M. Cobert, 79, Piedmont Airlines 767 flew west on February 13th to join his beloved co-pilot Ella Rae. Together they are soaring the skies.

He leaves behind his ground crew: Susan Rae and David Lubold of Sacramento, CA, Harlan Ronald and Karolina Cobert of Lewisville, NC, Lori Allison and Thomas Kiley of Strasburg, VA, and Lisa Michelle and Bryan Bache of Brandy Station, VA.

His luggage agents: Dawn Michelle, Cynthia Paige, Suzanna Raye, Christopher Scott, Joshua Wayne, Morgan Padraic, Jace Aric, Jordan Keith, Cherish Noel and seven great-grandchildren.

Brothers, Arthur T. of Isle of Palms, SC, George and Kathy of Jessup, MD; sister-in-law, Pauline (D.A.) of Port Orange, FL; father-in-law, Earl Bittner; sister-in-law, Marsha A. and Christopher Herman; brother-in-law, Robert Bittner all of Somerset, PA; as well as much loved nieces and nephews across the USA.

The family will hold a celebration of his life at a later date.

The Captain has requested donations be made to the Prince William County Police Association, P.O. Box 1845, Manassas VA 20108.
