Janet Partlowe Obituary
Janet Jolene Partlowe, 61, of Bentonville passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at her home.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Partlowe was born September 27, 1947 in Front Royal, VA daughter of the late Lester Howard and Avis Haynes Reynolds. Janet was a member of Front Royal Women of the Moose Lodge 1194.
Surviving are her husband Douglas L. Partlowe of Bentonville; two daughters Kelly R. Knowles-Miller of Front Royal and Shannon Henry of Centreville; three sisters Patricia Hansbrough and Phyllis Hicks both of Florida, and Barbara Cooper; a stepson Chico Partlowe; two grandsons David Knowles, Jr. and A.J. Kines. Janet was preceded in death by two brothers Ray Reynolds and Joseph Reynolds; and one sister Dottie Rowe.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Settle, Brandon Oliver, James Mauck, Wiley Tolbert, Brad Allen, and Kevin Mitchell.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 2654 Valley Ave. Suite B, Winchester, VA 22601 or to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 West Cork St., Winchester, VA 22601.
