Jo Ann Hottinger, 64, of Mt. Jackson, died May 15, 2011 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

She was born February 20, 1947 in New Market and was a daughter of the late Roscoe and Frances Coffman Sager.

She cared for children in her home for many years and was a member of Walkers Chapel Church of the Brethren near Mt. Jackson.

On December 21, 1965 she married Dannie S. Hottinger, Sr. who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Dwayne Hottinger of Fort Defiance and Dannie S. Hottinger, Jr. of Singers Glen; a daughter, Angela Jackson of Bowie, Maryland; two brothers, Richard Sager of Timberville and Charles Sager of Forestville; three sisters, Sandra Kraning of Peru, Indiana, Carolyn Phillips of New Market, and Linda Mumaw of Edinburg; and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Walkers Chapel Church of the Brethren by Rev. Cecil Haycock. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.
