Judy Lamma Nesselrodt, a resident of Harrisonburg, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2011 in Harrisonburg at the age of 73.

She was born, August 15, 1938 in Hamburg, Shenandoah County, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Edgar Earl and Fleta Irene Tusing Lamma.
She worked for many years at the Leggett's in downtown Harrisonburg and later with the Harrisonburg City Public Schools. She was well known within many of the school cafeterias. Judy was also past treasurer and member of the Hose Co. No. 4 Ladies Auxiliary and was an active member of the West Shenandoah Ruritan Club. Having grown up in the Morning Star Lutheran Church (ELCM), she continued to remain a dedicated worshiper and council member. She enjoyed collecting baskets, cookbooks and buttons.
On February 26, 1966, she married Wayne Fredrick Nesselrodt, who survives. She is also survived by her brother, Edgar "Eddie" E. Lamma, Jr. and his wife, Fern; two nephews, Edgar Lamma, III and Greg Lamma; and her niece, Cheryl Delawder.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Morning Star Lutheran Church in Mount Jackson, Virginia, with the Rev. Stephen Whitten officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday evening at the Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.
