Patty G. Williams Massey, 65, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019, at home surrounded by her loving family.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 10 at 11 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Sammy Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Panorama Memorial Gardens at Waterlick.

Patty was born February 9, 1953, in Front Royal, Virginia, daughter of the late Garnet D. Williams and Katherine E. Grim Williams.

Patty graduated from Warren County High School Class of 1973 and then graduated from Winchester Beauty College in 1976. She was a licensed hair dresser for 38 years. She was a member of the Front Royal Moose Lodge #829 and Women of the Moose Chapter #1194. She worked for a number of years for H&R Block in Front Royal.

Surviving are her loving and devoted husband of 27 years, Mickel D. Massey; two sons, Mike Sims and wife Marjorie of Front Royal and Michael Massey of Front Royal; two daughters, Cara LeBrun of Leesburg and Stephanie Taylor and husband Matthew of Hagerstown, Maryland; eight grandchildren Jacob Sims, Jessica Sims, Madelyn Haynes, Zoe Smartt, Ava Smartt, Olivia Smartt, Mason Taylor and Wyatt Taylor; two sisters, Dorothy Glascock and Barbara Dolly and husband Dave, all of Front Royal; and two brothers, Richard Williams and wife Shirley and Ronnie Williams and wife Susan all of Front Royal.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Wayne Williams and James Williams.

Pallbearers will be Brady Williams, Anthony Gray, Eric Williams, Matthew Taylor, Tim Clatterbuck and Tim Vannay.

Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Sims, Jerry Williams, Ricky Williams, Buzzy Williams, Jay Remenick and Kevin Glascock.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
