A Celebration of Life service for Randolph (Randy) Kirby, of Woodstock, VA, will be held Sunday March 11, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Woodstock Presbyterian Church, 142 E. Court Street. A light buffet will follow in the Church social hall.

In 1958, Randy became an Alexandria, VA firefighter and served as the City's Chief Fire Marshal from 1975 until he retired in 1983.

He later moved to Edinburg and then Woodstock after the death of his wife Lucy.

One of 11 children, he leaves behind a brother, Mike; his son, Randy Jr.; a granddaughter, Leslie; many nieces and nephews; and countless friends.

Randy was widely known and loved for his unique sense of humor and playful, generous spirit.

Flowers may be sent to the Church on Friday, March 9 from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be sent to The Salvation Army of Shenandoah County, 617 Kestrel Ct., Woodstock, VA 22664 or to Woodstock Presbyterian Church.
