After 16 years of faithful service, he retired in 2001 as Vice President of Summit Roofing Contractors Inc. of Manassas, VA.

Sam enjoyed being with family especially on the annual beach trip. He also enjoyed cattle farming, reading historical literature, going fishing and watching the NY Yankees. His quick wit and sense of humor will long be remembered.

Sam was a dedicated Mason and a member of Manasseh Lodge #182 since October 11, 1969. He served as Master of Unity Lodge #146 in 1994. He is a member in perpetuity of Edinburg Lodge #135 and an honorary member of Washington Lodge #78.
