Sharon Kay McPeak, 56, of Winchester, formerly of Front Royal, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013, in Winchester.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 16, at 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Rev. James Burke officiating. Burial will follow in Willis Chapel Cemetery, Huntly, VA.

Sharon was born October 31, 1956 in Front Royal, the daughter of Edna Pritchett Scott of Rappahannock County and the late Charles R. Fox, Sr. She was a private caretaker.

She was a member of Willis Chapel United Methodist Church.

Along with her mother, she is survived by her husband, Timothy McPeak of Luray; a daughter, Jennifer Kenney of Edinburg; two sisters, Christine Hall and husband Lee of Harrisonburg and Cookie Fauver and husband Terry of Winchester; two grandchildren, Quinton Diggs of Front Royal and Kaliyah Kenney Porter of Martinsburg, WV.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Susan Gumz; her brother, Charles R. Fox, Jr.; and her step-father, James N. Scott, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Richard Williams, Paul Parsons, Joshua Fincham, Bobby Pritchett, Willie Hallman, and Jeremy James Fox.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
