A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7, at 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home conducted by Pastor Terry Cave.
Travis was born January 29, 1983 to Sarah J. Baugher Smith. He attended Warren County High School and worked in construction. He enjoyed all sports and was an avid snowboarder, skier, and fisherman, but his true passion was baseball. He truly enjoyed watching the Little League World Series and coaching his son Kohl in baseball. He took pride in knowing his greatest accomplishment was his son and was involved in everything his son participated in, and was there for him every step of the way. He was a hard worker and was a true friend to all and never met a stranger. He will truly be missed by all.
Surviving along with his mother are one, son Austin Kohl Baugher; two sisters Taryn Nicol Smith and Tori Rae Kirkessner; maternal grandparents Toby and Nancy Baugher, Sr.; aunts Pattie Baugher Henry and Julie Baugher Harper; uncles Toby Baugher, Jr., Jeff Henry, Carlton Harper, and Asher Miller; cousins Amber and Chris Pingley, Kymberlee Henry and Adam Crabill, Billy Joe Baugher, Christina and Ronnie Smith, Sr., Blake Baugher, Alissa Baugher, Izabella Vaught, Blayze Henry, Ryder Crabill, Gianna Pingley, Alanna Pingley, and Ronnie "Peanut" Smith, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Baugher, Brian Lamb, Ronnie Smith, Sr., Chris Pingley, Adam Crabill, Jeff Henry, Sam Smith, and Asher Miller.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 6, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home.
