Viola "Pudge" Louise Menefee, 68, a resident of Strasburg, VA, went to be with The Lord at 1:10p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018. She was at peace and surrounded by family.

A memorial service for Mrs. Menefee will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Stover Memorial Chapel with Greg Sanford officiating.

She was born in Kane, Pennsylvania on July 17, 1949 a daughter of Chester John Tanner, II and the late Viola Louise Victor Tanner.

Pudge and her husband faithfully served 23 years with New Tribes Mission and 20 years pastoring churches around the country.

Survivors include her husband, Roy Menefee; one daughter, Honey; three sons, Mike, Josh and Jon; along with 14 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Thursday one hour prior to the service.

The family ask that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Winchester, VA 22601.
