I am very saddened to hear of the passing of Matt. He was a great guy, a friend to all, a hard worker, and a good father. His loss on this earth is being felt by the many lives he touched during the too few years he dwelled with us in his physical being. I think of good times and good memories with Matt around and know that is how he would want me, and all of us, to remember him. His body is no longer among us but his spirit will remain forever. God Bless your soul Matt.

Dear Lora and Will:
Oh goodness.... I want you to know that I am thinking of the both of you and pray that you will have strength in the Almighty God because he was looking for that "special angel" to guard over us and chose Matthew. I will never forget that smile and those beautiful eyes and that he always reminded me of Vince Gill. May God Bless you and your family at this time. I love you.

Country Diversion

May 30, 2008

To the family of a man who will be SADLY MISSED.... The members of Country Diversion Band want to send our deepest heartfelt condolences to you. Matthew was a very happy go lucky man who lended a hand when we were loading or unloading the equipment. Danced and cut up with us like he knew us for years. Corners will not be the same without you MATT. (On a personal note from Nancy) I was picking on Matt one night and told him I had a special name just for him I called him Mattie after my neice. Yeah I know that was a girls name but Matt just laughed I told him he was as special to me as she was. Secondly he always thought My fiance was cool and he would tell him all the time he was going to take me home. God I am going to miss him. The whole Band is going to miss him. Matt was very special..... VERY VERY SPECIAL. We all have a special angel with us.
