William (Bill) Snarr, age 71, of Strasburg, VA, passed away at his home on Friday, April 12, 2013.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Shiloh United Methodist Church, Strasburg, VA with Rev. William Erbach and Rev. Ed Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Church Cemetery.
Mr. Snarr was born November 7, 1941 in Woodstock, VA, the devoted son of the late William C. Snarr and Lillian Snarr Bly. He was a member of the 1960 graduating class of Strasburg High School, and later served two years in the military, U.S. Army. Mr. Snarr worked at Aileen, Inc. of Edinburg, VA and later at DuPont in Front Royal, VA until his retirement in 2005. Mr. Snarr was a lifelong active member of the Shiloh United Methodist Church having served as Lay Leader, Treasurer, and Trustee.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Natalie (Orndorff) Snarr of Strasburg, VA; brothers-in-law, Roger Orndorff (Nancy) of Cary, NC, Rodney Orndorff (Adelaide) of Raleigh, NC, and Dixon Orndorff (Susie) of Wardensville, WV; sister-in-law, Carrollyn Kotz (Harold) of Wardensville, WV; step-sisters and step-brother; and Noah Kotz, god son of Monrovia, MD.
Pallbearers will be Robert Neff, Steve Rinker, Allen Strosnider, Jimmy Hockman, Brian Kotz, and Dixon Orndorff, II.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mick Burkholder, Jim Himelright, and Bill Meeker.
The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m.
