Lt. JG Donald John Logie (USN), 89, of Front Royal, died on Friday, April 13, 2012 at Warren Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Logie was born March 28, 1923 in Linneus, Maine, son of the late Carl W. and Thelma Adams Logie. He was a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and retired from New York Telephone Company.
Surviving are his wife of 67 years Joan Logie of Front Royal; two sons Thomas D. Logie of North Port , FL and Donald J. Logie, Jr. of Newington, CT; one sister Kathryn McGinnis of Linneus, ME; two grandchildren Daniel Adams Logie of Harrisonburg and Deborah Logie Barr of Hedgesville, WV; and four great-grandchildren Naomi Logie, Jonathan Logie, Nathan Pipes, and Sarah Barr.
Arrangements are by Maddox Funeral Home, Inc. in Front Royal.
