Wallace Bernard Russell, age 84, of 10 Rolling Road, Luray, VA 22835, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Page Memorial Hospital.
He was born on Saturday, August 20, 1927, in Orlean, VA.
The family will receive friends at The Bradley Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday, June 9, 2012, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a memorial service held at 2:00 and graveside service following at Beahmás Chapel Cemetery with Masonic Rites.

Mr. Russell lived in Rappahannock, VA from 1955 till 1972 when he moved to Luray opening Russell Automotive and retired in 1989. He was a member of Luray United Methodist Church and the Cochan Masonic Lodge 271 in The Plains, VA. He served in the Army and Air Force.
He was married to Alice Elaine (Waters) Russell on December 15, 1953 who survives.
Also surviving are brother, Emory C. Russell of Flint Hill, VA; brother, Horace H. Russell of Warrenton, VA; sister, Ethel R. Hume of Warrenton, VA; sister, Jaunita J. Russell of Warrenton, VA; brother, Harry R. Russell of Warrenton, VA; and sister, Emily R. Colvin of Grovetown, GA.
He was preceded in death by father, John Garland Russell; mother, Mary Shelton (Jeffries) Russell; brother, John Russell, Jr.; brother, James Edward Russell; and brother, William âBillã T. Russell.
Services performed under the direction of The Bradley Funeral Home, Inc., 187 E. Main Street, P.O. Box 442, Luray, VA 22835.
