Garnet L. Kline, 85, of Wardensville, WV died on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Kline was born August 12, 1926 in Hardy Co., WV, a daughter to the late Ruby Miller Funk and step-father Napoleon Funk.
She was a custodian for Capon Valley Bank in Wardensville, WV. She was a member of Wardensville Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Kline married Herman Bryan Kline on October 10, 1942 in Winchester, VA. Mr. Kline died on October 16, 1976.
Surviving is a son, Timothy B. Kline of Wardensville, WV; three daughters, Sharon K. Moyer and Maxine McDonald and her husband Don, all of Wardensville, WV and Kathy I. Miller of Conroe, TX; a brother, Voight Miller of Winchester, VA; two sisters, Eunice Linaburg of Winchester, VA and Esther Walker of Wardensville, WV; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by a son, Richard âClydeã Kline; two grandsons, Bryan W. Moyer and Clifton E. Moyer; a brother, Eugene Miller; three sisters, Pauline Jennings, Phyliss Funk and June Miller.
A funeral service will be held Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Loy-Giffin Funeral Home in Wardensville, WV at 2:00 PM. Officiating will be Pastor F. Lee McDermott and Pastor Ken Brand. Interment will be at the Greenfield Cemetery near Wardensville, WV.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 6-8 PM.
