Judith Myers "Judy" Shepherd, 72, of Front Royal, died on Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Lynn Care Center in Front Royal.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 24, at 3:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal conducted by Rev. Kitty Hahn-Campanella.
Judy was born December 29, 1939 in Washington D.C., daughter of the late Roy Blair Myers and Virginia Evans Myers.
She retired from FEMA as a payroll administrator and was a former member of the Front Royal Elks Lodge.
Surviving are one son, James Roy "Jim" Lowry of Front Royal; one daughter, Janell "Jan" Lowry of Front Royal; one sister, Mary Rowe of Buchanan, VA; one brother, Gene Myers of Luray, VA; and two grandchildren, Jimmy Lowry and Monica Lowry.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Shepherd.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 West Cork Street, Winchester, VA 22601.
