Katherine Elizabeth Cook Sine, 84, of Woodstock, passed away Sunday, June 24, at Skyline Terrace Nursing Home in Woodstock.
A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Columbia Furnace Cemetery. Reverends Barbara Rhodes and Peter Mitchell will officiate.
Mrs. Sine was born September 13, 1927 in Woodstock, daughter of the late Margaret Hollar Cook and Ray Jay Cook, Sr.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Woodstock, Ladies Aux. of Edinburg V.F.W. and a volunteer at the Woodstock Clothes Closet.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Joseph Sine; two sisters, Jean Sine and Isabelle Cox; and two brothers, Ray Cook, Jr. and Robert Cook.
She is survived by her son, Jerry W. Sine and his wife Phyllis of Woodstock; sister, Peggy Lam of Penn Laird, VA; brother, William Cook of Burkeville, VA; and grandson, Jerry Sine II and his wife Kim of Woodstock.
