Charles Eugene Coffelt, 74, of Woodstock, passed away Friday, June 29, 2012 at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, July 3, at 2:00 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock. Reverend George Bowers will officiate. Burial will follow in Massanutten Cemetery in Woodstock.
Mr. Coffelt was born September 12, 1937 in Shenandoah County, son of the late William Coffelt and Edna Epard Coffelt Cook.
He was formerly employed at Safeway Inc. of Woodstock and C.E. Thompsons of Edinburg .
He was preceded in death by a son, Kevin A. Coffelt.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Davis Coffelt; three children, Dwight Eugene Coffelt of Woodstock, Dorinda L. Atchison and her husband P.J. of Woodstock and Keith M. Coffelt and his wife Deborah of Strasburg; two brothers, Bill Coffelt and his wife Faye of Edinburg and Richard Coffelt and his wife Juanita of Richmond; four grandchildren, Amanda Atchison Kibler, Buddy Atchison, Alysia Coffelt and Brittany Coffelt; three great-grandchildren, Trevor Kibler, Brianna Kibler and Harlie Kibler and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tom Cooley, Cliff Livesay, Spencer Heishman, Ricky Neff, Don Cooley and Ned Conklin.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Charles enjoyed trail riding with horses and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
