Gilbert "Pete" Kingree, Jr., 80, of Edinburg, died Saturday, July 7, 2012.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home, Woodstock. Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Kingree was born October 17, 1931 at Edinburg, Virginia. He was the son of the late Gilbert Kingree, Sr. and Vernie Hottle Kingree.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Kingree.
Mr. Kingree is survived by four sons, Gilbert Kingree, III, Steven Kingree and wife Alyson, Mike Kingree and Pete Kingree; a daughter, Stephanie Kingree and her husband Larry; two brothers, Allen and Fred Kingree; a sister, Betty Malone; and eleven grand- children.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home, Woodstock.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Woodstock Rescue Squad.
