Claude Eston Campbell peacefully passed away with his loving family by his side on December 8, 2012.

Born in Tennessee on June 4, 1941 to the late William Potter and Alice Campbell Farr, he started working when he was 8 years old and continued working all of his life.
When moving to Virginia with his wife, he began working for the Loudoun County Sheriffs Department as a deputy. Later he started his own siding company named Northern Virginia Siding. After several years of siding, he changed his occupation to interior trim subcontracting for Ryan Homes Inc. and Carrington Homes.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Langston; and 3 brothers, one at birth, Douglas Farr and Franklin Farr.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sue Campbell; one daughter, Rhonda Melton and her husband, Greg; 2 grandchildren, Amanda Melton and Joseph Melton, all of Fort Valley; sisters, Edna Burke, Johnnie Rhea, Mary Muncey, Elizabeth Jasinski, Glennis Norris, all of Tennessee; brothers, Bill Potter, Everitt Potter, Shane Potter, Robert Farr, and Homer Farr, all of Tennessee; nieces and nephews, all of Tennessee.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, at Faith Lutheran Church with Pastor Alfred Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow at Crossroads Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. tonight at Valley Funeral Service, Bowmans Crossing.
Pallbearers are Joseph Melton, Wade Teets, Sam Barrett, Manuel Lopez Telles, Tom Hunsberger and Danny Thomale. Honorary pallbearers are John Chandler, Mark Chandler, Eugene Bulatko, Jim Stevens, and Larry Walters.
