Ronald Joseph Nagi, 84, of Front Royal, died Sunday, February 16, 2014, at Loving Arms Assisted Living.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd, at 6:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with military honors.

Mr. Nagi was born June 6, 1929, in West Allis, Wisconsin, son of the late Herbert and Margaret Nagi.

He was a retired U.S. Army Sergeant having served in the Signal Corps He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Giles B. Cook Post 53 of the American Legion, the VFW Post 1860, and the Warren County Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America where he served as secretary for a number of years.

Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Evelyn G. Nagi; two sons, Larry R. Nagi of Linden and his wife Nancy and Steven R. Nagi of St. Leonard, Maryland and his companion Debbie Niner; four grandchildren, Ryan Nagi, Leann Nagi, Sarah Nagi, and Eric Nagi; two great-grandchildren, Payton Nagi and Evelyn Nagi; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a half-brother, Terry Nagi.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
