Edward B. Cute, Sr., 58, of Front Royal, VA,  lost his battle with pancreatic cancer Sunday, May 18, 2014 at the VA Medical Center, Martinsburg, WV.

Mr. Cute was an Air Force Veteran who had worked in the Titan II missile program and held a degree in Aerospace Engineering from University of Arizona. He had been a VDOT inspector and owner and operator of a trucking company. With his wife he had run a catering company.

Mr. Cute was the son of Charles E. Cute and Ethel Housholder Cute of Youngwood, PA.
 
Along with his mother he is survived by his wife of 28 years, Joan E. Harding; his children, Edward Jr. of Ohio, Matthew C. Cute, Bradley F. Cute, and Kelsey E. Cute, all of Front Royal VA; and Jill Leonisio; his siblings Tacy Cute and Peter Cute of Youngwood, PA and Martin Cute of St. Augustine, FL.  Ed was also blessed with many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and daughter, Valerie A. Cute.

A grave side service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Front Royal with Rev. Deborah Rutter officiating. A celebration of his life will be held afterwards.

In lieu of flowers a donation in Ed's memory may be made to the Rector's Discretionary Fund, Calvary Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 62, Front Royal, VA.
