Linda Jean Dillard, 75, of Woodstock, VA went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 24, 2014.

Born February 14, 1939 in Mt. Clinton, VA, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Edythe Dillard.
Linda was a resident of Skyline Terrace in Woodstock. Prior to that time, she had lived in Crystal River, FL, caring for her mother before moving back to Harrisonburg, VA.
Linda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and faithfully studying scriptures. She was a member at Muhlenberg Lutheran Church where she helped prepare and serve meals when her health permitted her to do so.
Linda is survived by four children, Donna Horan and husband, John of Strasburg, VA, Edward Lee Cook of Strasburg, Eldon Gene Cook of Harrisonburg and Erick (Cookie) Cook of Harrisonburg; a brother, James Dillard and wife, Carol of Keezletown, VA; a sister, Libby Smith of Harrisonburg; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Her body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg. Inurnment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
