Bonnie Kay Hollar Stickley, age 73, of Strasburg, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014 at her home.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 2nd, at Stover Memorial Chapel, Strasburg with Rev. Geneal Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Strasburg.

Bonnie was born March 27, 1941 in Winchester, a daughter of the late Howard Franklin and Nina Racey Hollar.

She was a member of Strasburg Christian Church, Strasburg American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Unit N. 77, Signal Knob Peace Council and spent thirteen years in Girl Scout leadership roles, Shawnee Council. She had been employed in manufacturing, personal services and at Stickles Family Ceramic Shop for a number of years.

Surviving are her son, Kenneth Rex Stickley, Jr. and wife Dawn of Casco, Maine; her daughters, Melinda Leigh Stickley of Strasburg, Pamela Rae Stickley and companion, Vincent Staup of Winchester and Dori Dawn Stickley and companion, Gary Truman of Strasburg; her brother, Howard "Dickie" Hollar and wife, Evelyn of Woodstock and Gloria Ann Stickles of Strasburg; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother, James "Jakey" Hollar.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Stickley, Justin Stickley, Colin Stickley, Roderick Stickley, Joshua Truman and Jerry Fishel.

Honorary pallbearers will be Strasburg American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Unit No. 77.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home, 177 N. Holliday St., Strasburg on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
