Anna Lee Hamman Rutz, age 59, of Strasburg, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014 at University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville.

A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. C. Keith Warren and Pastor Buster Doman officiating.

Mrs. Rutz was born November 26, 1954 in Winchester, a daughter of the late Charles Franklin and Annabelle Virginia Miller Hamman, Jr.

She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and was employed at RR Donnelley, Strasburg with 35 years of service.

Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Charles William Rutz; her son, Christopher Anthony Rutz of Barton, Maryland; her two daughters, Brandy Lynn Drummonds of Strasburg and Melissa Ann Peer of Winchester; her two brothers, John Allen Hamman and Michael Eugene Hamman, both of Strasburg; her sister, Connie Marie Orebaugh of Mt. Jackson; ten grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Dale Orebaugh, Sr. and her sister-in-law, Stephanie Ann Hamman.

Pallbearers will be Todd Drummods, Eric Sealock, Shane Hamman, Derek Hamman, Dale Vance, Wayne Miller, Dwain Pangle, Gary Beeler, D.J. Orebaugh, Rakwon White, Charles Ammons and Lance Ford.

Honorary pallbearers will be friends at RR Donnelley.

The family will receive friends at Liberty Baptist Church, 29110 Old Valley Pike, Strasburg on Sunday from 7:00 9:00 p.m.
