James Eugene "Jim" Zulauf, 80, of Capon Springs, WV died on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at his home.

Jim was born on May 7, 1934 in Baltimore, MD, a son of the late Charles E. and Gazella Arminger Zulauf.
He was a Police Sergeant and was head of the Swat Team in Baltimore County, MD. He was a member of Willow Chapel United Methodist Church in Capon Springs, WV.
Jim married Helen Haer Zulauf on May 22, 1981 in Baltimore, MD.
Surviving with his wife of 33 years is a son, James E. "Jim Jr." Zulauf, Jr. of New York, NY; two daughters, Maria Zulauf of Capon Springs, WV and Maryanne Kondratenko of Baltimore, MD; a brother: Gerard "Gerry" Zulauf (Karen) of Perryman, MD; two grandchildren, Sonya and Nick Kondratenko; a sister in law, Ann Zulauf; and numerous of nephews and nieces.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Charles E. Zulauf, Jr.; a sister, Rita Hynoski and a sister-n-law, Carol Zulauf.
