Charles Kenneth Clem, age 90, a resident of Strasburg, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014 at his residence.

A graveside service for Mr. Clem will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at the Maurertown Cemetery with Rev. Geneal Wilson officiating. Military honors will be performed by the Shenandoah American Legion Post 77, Strasburg.

The Family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Tuesday from 1:00 PM-1:45 PM and will go in procession to the cemetery for the service.

He was born in Maurertown, VA on May 19, 1924, the son of the late Thomas Kenny and Stella Mae Finks Clem.

He was a retired television technician with Tip Top Radio and TV. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, loved gardening and growing vegetables, caning chairs, weaving split bottom baskets, and loved his dogs.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a nephew, Jerry A. Racey.

Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Patricia R. "Pat" Clem of Strasburg, and a sister, Louise "Becky" Racey of Fishers Hill.

Pallbearers will be Allen Strosnider, Jerry Fisher, Gary Holsinger, Dennis Ridings, Danny Ridings, and Dwayne Ridings.
