George Edward Offerman, 53, of Front Royal, VA, died on Saturday, August 16, 2014 in Maryland.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 23, at 1:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Offerman was born March 10, 1961, son of the late George Vincent Offerman.
He was a psychotherapist with Kaiser-Permanente. Mr. Offerman was an avid homebrewer of beer and won a gold medal at the first annual Hop Blossom Homebrew Festival in 2013. He attended St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Front Royal and was an advocate for the Pro-Life movement. He dearly loved his family and friends. He was a true outdoorsman and was especially fond of fireworks and firework shows. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Surviving are his wife, Kathleen Marie Offerman of Front Royal; three children, Grace Offerman, Faith Offerman, and Matt Offerman (Abby) and their mother, Jenelle Offerman; sister, Susan Ramlow (Earl) of Iron Mountain, MI; brother, Steve Offerman (Janet) of Manhattan, IL; and many loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 22 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal.
