Sonia Hennie Minnick, 68, of Edinburg, widow of Charles Clayton Minnick, Jr. died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Winchester Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2011, 2:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church by Rev. Kate Schroeder. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Minnick is survived by her mother, Edith Johnson Osborne of Richlands; a son, Charles Clayton Minnick, III and wife, Patricia of Austin, Texas; one daughter, Amber Minnick DiMarino and husband, John of Hagerstown, Maryland; a grandson, Rowan Clayton Minnick; four sisters, Shelvie Crawford of Abington, Devada Mutter of Wardell, Judy Osborne of Hillsville, and Deborah Elswick of Abington; two brothers, Darry Osborne of Mitchell and Joe Osborne of Leigh High Acres, Florida.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7 to 9 at Dellinger Funeral Home, Woodstock.
Pallbearers will be Charles C. Minnick, III, Jeff Funkhouser, Charles Dellinger, Richard J. Funkhouser, John Estep, and Alfred (Junior) Heishman.
