Genevieve M. Jones, 90, of Front Royal, passed away at the home of her daughter on November 10, 2012.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at Maddox Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick Kerfoot officiating. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Front Royal, VA. Pallbearers will be Jody Fox, Wade Fox, Matthew Fox, Nathan Fox, Caleb VanDoren, and Justin Dutton. Honorary pallbearers will be Hunter VanDoren and Tommy Fox.
Genevieve was born on November 1, 1922, in Cave, WV, the daughter of the late Artie Waybright Harrison and Edward A. Mullenax.
She moved from Staunton, VA to Front Royal in 1944. She retired from Avtex Fibers in 1987 with over 32 years dedicated service.
Genevieve will be remembered by all who came in contact with her for her caring nature and loving generosity. She thoroughly enjoyed traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family. Friends and family fondly recall that a visit from her would always include thoughtful gifts for the family and a stash of special treats for every pet in the household.
She is survived by her daughter, Emogene L. Fox and husband Archie. Along with her daughter, she leaves behind three loving grandchildren, Jody A. Fox and wife Valerie of Winchester, Archie "Wade" Fox and wife Beth, and Gina Fox VanDoren and husband David of Front Royal. Also surviving are nine great-grandchildren, Tommy, Nathan, Matthew, Kailee and Emily Fox, Hunter and Caleb VanDoren, Amanda Dutton and Lacy Wysocki; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, JoAn Ryan of Columbus, OH.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Jack R. Livick, Edward M. Maricle, and Ralph C. Jones.
The family will receive friends at Maddox Funeral Home Tuesday, November 13, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m.
