Samuel Edgar Munday, 67, of Front Royal died Thursday, July 11, 2013, in his home.

Services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Munday was born June 6, 1946, in Wax Pool, Virginia, son of the late James Willis and Maxie Marcum Munday.

He was an excellent carpenter and enjoyed collecting antiques. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Surviving are three sons, Scott Edward Munday of St. Pauls, North Carolina, Christopher N. Munday of Richmond, and Donald Krolak of New York, New York; a brother James W. Munday of Bealton; two sisters, Alice Moore of Manassas and Connie Sydney of Edison, New Jersey; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
