Clark Swanson Walker, 87, of Woodstock, died Saturday, March 15 at Consulate Health Care.

Clark was born August 7, 1926 in Woodstock, the son of the late Norman D. and Rada S. Clark.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 at Valley Funeral Home, Edinburg with Pastor Mark Bowers officiating. Burial will be in Massanutten Cemetery.
Clark was a music teacher for many years. He was a US Army Corporal in the Korean War. He graduated from Woodstock High School in 1943, Shenandoah Conservatory in 1946 with a Master's Degree, graduated from James Madison University in 1965 and received a Master's Degree from Indiana University in 1969. Mr. Walker taught music in Mississippi, Virginia and Maryland before retiring in 1979.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Rugh Walker Brown and a brother, Edsel Walker.
He is survived by many cousins.
