Rita Strosnider Obituary
Graveside rites will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 12th at Sunset View Memorial Gardens, Woodstock with Pastor Deanna Boynton and Pastor Nathan Robinson officiating.
Mrs. Strosnider was born May 7, 1956 in Winchester, the daughter of the late James Arthur "Jim" Strosnider, Jr. and Marcelene Hope Craun Strosnider.
She was a member of St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, Toms Brook and was a past church council member. She was employed by A. Morton Thomas as an office engineer.
Rita loved to paint and many of her paintings have been shown at the Historic Millwood and Strasburg Library.
Surviving are her husband, Jeffrey Clark Strosnider; her son, James Clark Strosnider and wife, Heather L., of Toms Brook; her grandchildren, Olivia Marcelene and Bryce Henry Strosnider; her brother, J. Steve Strosnider and wife, Robin, of Roanoke; and her father's second wife, Pat Strosnider of Woodstock.
Pallbearers will be Eric Grouh, Steve Hedrick, Douglas Keller, Randy Cook, Patrick Riffey and Mike Cook.
Memorials may be made to St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 104, Toms Brook, VA 22660 or Toms Brook Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 168, Toms Brook, VA 22660.

Our deepest condolences to all of Rita's family, praying that God embraces you with His comfort and strength. Please accept my deepest heartfelt sympathies for the lost of your Wife, Mother and Grandmother. I have worked with Rita for at over 16 years, we loved taking time out from our work and talking about our families, she was so proud and enjoyed every minute with her family, especially those grandbabies as she would call them.
