Loretta Clater Obituary
Loretta Midkiff Clater went to be with the Lord on July 24, 2017 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA.
She was born August 10, 1941 to Claude Burton Midkiff Jr. and Minnie M. Cameron.
She is survived by her son, Eric F. Clater; her daughter, Tracy L. Colby; three grandchildren, James Tyler Clater, Erica Renee Clater and Madison Evon Colby; two great grandchildren; five sisters, Claudette Richards, Gayle Robinson, Jackie Jenkins (John), Madeline Miller (Jerry) and Carol Brooks (John); three brothers, Chuck Midkiff (Debbie), Larry Midkiff (Wanda) and Mickey Midkiff; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, John W. Pumphrey Jr.
There will be a Celebration of Life on August 5, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the VFW pavilion in Front Royal, VA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
