Lee H. Belyea, age 71, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 26, after a 13 month battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He was born in Boston, Mass., to Harold J. and Christine Gracie Belyea.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Teresa Belyea; two daughters, Terri Leigh (Karl) Becker and Traci (Brent) LeMaster; grandchildren, Johnathan and Alexis Becker, Anna and Emma LeMaster; sisters, Margaret (John) Andrews and Linda Belyea; and a brother-in-law, Roberto (Elisdelia) Coronado.
Lee served 20 years in the Air Force as a Firefighter
and retired to Niceville, Fla. He was in the Seminole Volunteer Fire Department where he served as Fire Chief for a period during his service. Lee was also on the Board of Fire Commissioners for North Bay Fire Department.
Lee never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone in any way that he could.
There will be a visitation from 10 until 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2013, at First Baptist Church of Niceville with a funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Twin Cities Hospital, Dr. Schroeder, Dr. T. Johnson, and Covenant Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Niceville building fund, the Florida Baptist Children's Home or Covenant Hospice.
