Robert P. Maloney, Sr., a long time resident of Florida, died in his home on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, after a long illness. He was born in Massachusetts in 1943 to Mary (Young) Paradis and the late Edward Maloney. He was also the son of the late Ernest Paradis.
Robert entered the Air Force in 1963, served two tours in Vietnam Nam and retired after 20 years as a master sergeant where he worked as a steward on the Air Force Two for President Bush. He later retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
Robert leaves his children, Debora, Robert, Jr., Susan, Kevin and Joshua. He also leaves his sister, Kathleen Pastore of Miramar Beach, Fla., Carol Beagan and his late sister, Dorothy Maloney, R.S.M. of Rhode Island.
A memorial service will be held in Rhode Island.
