Marvin Rosenthal Obituary

Born in Bayonne, New Jersey Marvin had a great love for music. He started playing the clarinet around 10. He composed on the piano, and played the sax. His love was Benny Goodman and he nailed it! He led a 17 piece jazz swing band. He played for President Ford.
Locally he discovered Downbeat Jazz Orchestra that played at Joey's Italian Grill in Niceville. He went many times with his daughters to enjoy his old familiar sound.
He is survived by 6 daughters, 12 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

Mr. Rosenthal was a very special man, inspiring all of us who cared for him during his rehab at GBHR. His smile, infectious and spirit, indominable. I shall always remember him. He so loved his family, spoke of them often. May he rest in God's peace.
M. Hartwig, RN.
