A companion, father and friend, Harry Constantine Demosthenes, went to be with his Lord and savior on Aug. 10, 2014, at his home in Navarre, Fla. with his family by his side. He was born in Savannah, Ga. to Gus and Themis Demosthenes on April 28, 1922.

Harry retired after serving 27 years in the United States Air Force and was a highly decorated war Veteran. After retirement he built Allied Brake and Alignment in Fort Walton Beach, Fla.
Harry loved the Lord and Lee Demosthenes, his wife; had a zest for life and brought laughter in any situation. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. He is survived by his wife of 63 years; daughters, Susan Demosthenes (Eddie) Rupright and Connie Demosthenes; granddaughter, Sherry (Ken) Whitlock; great-granddaughter, Isabella-Grace Whitlock; and his lifelong friend, Bill Wade and many other dear friends.
A Viewing will be at McLaughlin Mortuary, 17 Chestnut Ave., Fort Walton Beach, FL between 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 15, 2014 at Beal Memorial Cemetery, Fort Walton Beach, FL with full military honors.
Pastor Tim Black will be officiating.
