Herbert W. Snedeker Jr., 59, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., passed away at his home on Sunday, July 20, 2014, after a long hard battle. The Lord took Herb home to reunite with his mother Ruth Ann Snedeker and his father Herbert Snedeker Sr. He was born February 3, 1955, to Herbert William and Ruth Ann Snedeker Sr. in Wheeling, W. Va.

Herbert entered the United States Air Force in 1973; he became a Staff Sergeant and was a radio relay equipment technician.
He enjoyed woodworking and sales management locally.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Linda G. Snedeker, daughter Shannon Brown of Duluth, Minn., son Herbert W. Snedeker III of Superior, Wis., son and daughter-in-law Kyle W. and Leslie Snedeker of Youngsville, La., eight beautiful grandchildren, sister Lucy Muklewicz of St. Clairsville, Ohio, brother Todd Snedeker of Wheeling, W. Va., brother Jeff Snedeker of Jacobsburg, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed greatly by all who loved him.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 24, 2014, at 11 a.m. funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road, N.E. Fort Walton Beach, FL with a burial to follow at Beal Memorial Cemetery, Fort Walton Beach.
Memorial Foundation contributions can be made in his name to Emerald Coast Hospice.
