Ms. Leah Ann Stratmann, age 66, of Red Bay, Fla., passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013. She was born March 19, 1947, in Vincennes, Ind., to Joseph and Elaine Stratmann.

Ms. Stratmann was a resident of Walton County in the Red Bay Community and was Christian by faith. She graduated from Indiana University School of Journalism, earning her bachelor's degree. She was the founding editor of the Beach Comber Magazine. She was currently employed as a writer for the DeFuniak Herald Breeze Newspaper.
Ms. Stratmann was preceded in death by her parents.
Ms. Stratmann is survived by one brother, Eric Stratmann and wife, Cyndy Keller, of Destin, Fla.; one sister, Monica Farr of Joliet, Ill.; two nieces, Nancy and Sharon; and five great-nieces and nephews.
Will be laid to rest at the Glendale Memorial Nature Preserve Cemetery; 297 Railroad Ave., DeFuniak Springs, FL 32433.
