Ronnie Moore, age 67, passed away on May 10, 2014, after a sudden illness. Born Sept. 28, 1946, in Ocilla, Ga., and spent his childhood in Brookfield, Ga. He later moved to Fort Walton Beach, Fla., to live close to the beaches he loved.

He attended Tift County High School, went on to graduate from the University of Georgia (Go you Hairy Dawgs!) and later received his Masters from University of West Florida. He also served in the U.S. Air Force.
Ronnie loved his family and enjoyed his grandchildren. He also enjoyed traveling, fishing, riding his motorcycle and watching his New Orleans Saints.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Lott Moore and Charles William Moore; and his brother, Carroll William Moore.
He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Yvette Moore; his children, Kevin (Tricia) Moore of Shalimar, Carmen Moore of Fort Walton Beach, Melissa (George) Masterson of Crestview, and Woody (Angi) Moore of Crestview; four siblings, Harold Moore of Fort Walton Beach, Cherrie (Jerry) Musselwhite of Brookfield, Ga., twin brother, Donnie Moore of Loganville, Ga., and Charles Arnold (Lynda) Moore of Macon, Ga.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road NE, Fort Walton Beach, Fla. Services will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at 10 a.m., at Emerald Coast Funeral Home with interment to follow at Barrancas National Cemetery at 1:15 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Legion Post 75 building fund, 898 E James Lee Blvd., Crestview, FL 32539.
