Scott Kittleson, age 57, of Niceville, Fla., passed away after an extended illness on Sunday morning, Oct. 20, 2013. He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Moore; mother, Janith; and Granny Kittleson. Scott is survived by his companion of 24 years, Sally Hopper; Uncle Jack Brown and Aunt Pat Brown and Uncle Butch Kittleson and other extended family members. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
At the time of his death, Scott was a newspaper carrier for the Northwest Florida Daily News. Scott knew he was blessed to have had so many kind customers on his Rocky Bayou paper route.
Scott requested a "green burial" and was laid to rest within 26 hours after his death in a simple pine box surrounded by God's natural beauty at the Glendale Memorial Preserve. A celebration of his life was shared among family and friends at his serene site as he was lowered into the ground of the final resting place, covering his body with the ground that would prepare his remains to become a part of the nature that he loved so much.
Many thanks to Emerald Coast Hospice for their kind, dignified care of Scott.
