William Robert (Bill) Hughson passed away Dec. 8, 2013. Bill was born in Syracuse, N.Y., served in the U.S. Air Force and was married to Beatrice Harrison from St. Petersburg, Fla. He graduated from the University of Florida's school of Pharmacy and worked as a freelance pharmacist in the Panama City area before operating his own pharmacy in Crestview, Fla. Bill also worked for Revco and the State of Florida as a pharmacist before completing his career at Baker School in Baker, Fla., where he taught math. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, was active in off-road motorcycle riding, competed in Sports Car Club of America auto racing events and operated a small hay farm in Escambia Farms prior to his retirement in 2011.

He is survived by his loving wife, Beatrice (Treece), of 51 years; son, Robert, married to Doris Hinson from DeFuniak; son, Wesley, married to Jessica Burch from Panama City; sisters, Jacquelyn and Nancy; grandchildren, Lauren, Emiley, Carlie, Ivey, Max and Riley; and four great-grandchildren.
It was Bill's request to have a private service with family. The family requests in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the
, or Sports Car Club of America.
