Mrs. Angie McKowen passed away Nov. 13, 2009 in Freeport in her home with her family by her side. She was born Nov. 25, 1945 at home in Enterprise, Ala. to Howard and Willie Gladden Williams.

Mrs. McKowen was Baptist by faith. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and reading her Bible. She loved working with her flowers and plants. She was very devoted to her customers at the Seaside Post Office where she worked for 18 years.
Mrs. McKowen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas McKowen; one sister, Marilyn Sparks; and one brother, Jack Williams.
Mrs. McKowen is survived by her daughter, Tanya Renee Cauley of Sandestin, Fla.; four grandchildren, Olivia Nicole Cauley, Zachary James Cauley, Elena Brooke Cauley and Emma Renee Cauley; three sisters, Carolyn Brown and husband Grady Brown, Debra White and husband Mike White; Margaret Calhoun; and one brother, Harold Williams and wife Marion.
A time of visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 15 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue DeFu-niak Springs, Florida 32435.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Monday, Nov. 16 at the Chapel of Clary-Glenn Funeral Home with Reverend Mike White officiating. Burial will follow in the Hatcher Cemetery, Freeport, Fla.
Pallbearers will be Zachary Cauley, Vince Brown, Cody Brown, Clint White, Tommy Reeves and Eddie Eldridge.
Floral arrangements are being accepted.
