Mr. Daniel Johnson, age 31, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sept. 19, 2009. He was born April 21, 1978 in Jackson, Miss. to Dr. James and Linda Johnson.

Daniel was Baptist by faith and a member of the First Baptist Church, where he served as the Minister of Students. He was attending college at Liberty University. He graduated from Temple Christian Academy in Lewis-ville, Texas. He was very devoted to his ministry and his family, especially his wife and twin sons.
Daniel is survived by his father and mother Dr. James and Linda Johnson, wife Suzanne Johnson, twin sons James Logan and Brandon Daniel Johnson all of DeFuniak Springs; father and mother-in-law Monty and Ann Eddins of DeFuniak Springs; one sister-in-law Stephanie Cibiras and husband Tom of Kentucky; niece and nephew Madison and Thomas Cibiras.
A time of visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009 at the First Baptist Church; 216 Liveoak Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009 at the First Baptist Church with Dr. James Johnson and Dr. Mark Rathel officiating.
Pallbearers will be Richard Murray, Jr., Shane Abbott, Dusty Beck, Greg Majors, Tom Cibiras and Jason Burgess
Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be the First Baptist Church Youth Group.
Floral arrangements are being accepted or donations may be made to the James Daniel Johnson College Trust Fund @ the Army Aviation Federal Credit Union in DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
