Kim passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012, at the Joyce Goldenberg Hospice In-Patient Care, Pensacola, Fla.
Kim was born to Kim Dong Sool and Kim Heang Soon on Feb. 5, 1954, in South Korea. She lived in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., since 1977.
Kim is survived by her partner in life of 23 years, Steve Lowry. Surviving relatives include Ken and Jeanne Koval, Jay and Judy Campbell, Brian Koval of Fort Walton Beach, Sherri Joel of Fall City, Wash., Catherine, Tony, Tony Jr., and Abrianna DeAngelo of San Diego, Candi, Michael and Cami Dickerson of Springfield, Va., Sarah Safouane of Seattle, Andrea, Dwayne, Shawnda and Adrian Goodson of Japan, and Amber, Josh, Josephine and Ryann Reeves of Burnsville, N.C. In South Korea, she is survived by two brothers; four sisters; along with dear friends, Pat and Hyun "Jo" Hatch; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Kim and Steve are the owners of the Beal Street Cafe' and Pizzeria for the past nine years. "Miss Kim," as she is known by her employees and customers, has gone to be with the Lord in Heaven after a courageous and hard fought battle with cancer.
"Be at peace my sweet in the hands of God until we are together again in Heaven. God Bless and thanks to everyone for your love, prayers and support in each and every way for these past years. Your kindness will be remembered forever."

A memorial service will be held on April 23 at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road N.E., Fort Walton Beach, with visitation from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 6 p.m. Chaplain Frank Dole will be officiating. Burial will be private.
