Mrs. Lois Cassidy, age 79, of Bruce, Fla., passed away Jan. 23, 2010. She was born March 14, 1930 in Walton County to Ben and Kathern Bozeman.

Mrs. Cassidy was Holiness by faith and a member of the Bruce Community Church. She worked as a door-to-door salesperson, selling Watkins Products for many years, with the help of her children. She also assisted her husband in the daily duties of taking care of the family farm. She was a very talented cook.
Mrs. Cassidy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Henry Cassidy; and two brothers, Buddy Bozeman and James Mitchell Bozeman.
Mrs. Cassidy is survived by her two sons, Aubery Cassidy and wife, Sandy of Crestview and Wayne Cassidy and wife, Debbie of Destin; one daughter, Mary Brock and husband, Wendell of Havana; seven grandchildren, Allison Smith, Shannon Cassidy, Jordan Brock, Jeremy Brock, Tommy Cassidy, William Cassidy and Tim Cassidy; sisters, Gladys McCormick and Lucille Bishop; and many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by special devoted friend, Joe Kilpatrick and many extended family.
Visitation services will be held 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Jan. 25, 2010 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home; 150 East Highway 20, Freeport, FL 32439.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home with Reverend Wayne Clan-ton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dead River Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be the grandsons Jordan Brock, Marvin Bishop, Jeremy Brock, Tommy Cassidy, William Cassidy and Adam Robinson.
