Peter Joseph Peterson, age 84, was born July 24, 1928, at Lawrence Hospital, Bronxville, N.Y., to Evar Carl Gustav "Pete" and Nellie Devine Peterson. Peter attended school at Bronxville Elementary and Bronxville High School. He served his country in the N.Y. State Guard, the N.Y. National Guard, and the U.S. Navy. Peter was preceded in death by a sister, Eileen Love of Cape Cod, Mass.; a brother-in-law, Al; and sister-in-law, Evelyn Leshik. Survivors include his wife, Marion Louise of Destin, Fla.; daughter, Barbara Anne and her husband, James Pollock, and their children Frances Marie and son Peter James and his wife Alicia Pollock of Queens, N.Y.; his daughter, Diane Marie Peterson of Destin; son, Philip Peter Peterson of Jacksonville, Fla.; son, Michael Joseph Peterson of Destin; son, Joseph James Peterson, wife Kim, their children Emily, Kenny and Abigail of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; son, Matthew John Peterson and his wife Jenene and their children William, Christian, Steven, Elizabeth, Gemma and Anna of Lutz, Fla. Other survivors include brother-in-law, Robert Titus; and sister-in-law, Mary Francis Titus of Pasadena, Texas; and nieces, Susanne, Patricia and Kathy Love, Dorothy and Mary Alice Leshik and Patty Titus; nephews, Buddy, Charley and Terry Love, Allen, Richard and Tommy Leshik and Michael Titus.

There will be a visitation from 11 a.m. until noon on Monday, Nov. 19, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church with a funeral mass beginning at noon, Monday, at the church. Interment will follow in Heritage Gardens Cemetery.
