On July 4, 2012, Robert William Farnum passed away peacefully in Niceville, Fla., at the age of 80.

He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Abbie Farnum, twin brother Roger, and sister Virginia.
Robert was born in Bennington, Vt. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who enjoyed the company of his family. He was an avid fan of all sports.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Moriko Farnum; daughters, Ann Fox and her husband Tim Fox, and Nancy Craig and her husband Joe Craig; son, James Farnum and his wife Karen Farnum; grandchildren, Katina Durost and her husband Rodney Durost Jr., Joey Craig, Kimberly Allen and her husband David Allen, Tyler Farnum, and Morgan Farnum; great-grandchildren Owen Allen and Jaden Durost; brothers, Donald, Ray, Thomas, and Frederick; and sisters Shirley Barnhardt, Mary Stemp, and Julia Moretti.
Memorial service and internment will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery on Friday, July 20, 2012, at 10:15 a.m.
