W. James Brazel, Jr., passed away after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Born in Albany, Ga., in 1949, James' family moved to Fort Walton Beach, Fla., in 1955. He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Eugenia, and is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Mangum and her husband, Dennis, and their family: three nephews living locally, David and Dawn Mangum, Michael and Beth Mangum, Steven Mangum and niece, Amy Mangum Sanders, of San Antonio Texas. His great nieces and nephews are Sarah Mangum, Marin Mangum, and Isaac, Jacob, and Alijha Cole. James' family has chosen to have a private ceremony but would like to encourage friends and followers to view and leave expressions of sympathy on his on-line memorial at www.emeraldcoastfuneralhome.com.
